Limestone Lodge Gardens is primarily a medicinal shade plant nursery. Since they are located in a native hardwood forest, they specialize in perennial plants that prosper in the shade, such as American ginseng, goldenseal, blue cohosh, black cohosh and nettles, among others. They have a few camping cabins available for overnight visitors. All are easily accessible on foot, two by 2WD vehicle, and two by 4WD vehicle.
