Founded in 1867, Putnam Museum is located near Mississippi River. It was one of the homes to over 160,000 artifacts and specimens, the Putnam Museum of History and Natural Science offers permanent and changing exhibits and dynamic public programs. The permanent exhibits include Black Earth, Hall of mammals, and River valley discovery room.
