Belmond Medical Center (BMC) is a community owned rural healthcare facility, in a combined hospital and clinic setting. The hospital is a licensed facility which cares for patients on the following 4 levels of care: Inpatient Acute Care - nursing care provided 7 days a week, 24 hours a day; Skilled Nursing Care - care provided after period of acute care to patients who require skilled nursing services; Long Term Care - Private Pay - daily basic care provided to these patients; Inpatient Hospice Care. The hospital also has an emergency room that is staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
