Emma Goldman Clinic

The Emma Goldman Clinic was the first outpatient abortion clinic in Iowa and the first women owned and operated health center in the Midwest. It is a not-for-profit organization founded and operated by women. They exist to empower women in all life stages through the provision of quality reproductive health care, active education and the promotion of women's voices in public policy. The clinic promotes participatory health care, informed decision making, client rights, advocacy for women, and expansion and support of women's choices.
