Franklin

The Oldest Town in Idaho

On the Utah border on US 91 south of Preston, Franklin is the county seat of Franklin County.

Settled in 1860 by Mormon pioneers, the town was once a busy terminus for the Utah Northern Railroad, where freight for Montana mines reloaded to be hauled north by wagons.

There is also a Franklin, New Hampshire.
