Idaho Museum of Natural History |
Exhibits profile Idaho's natural history and include pleistocene era mammals native to the area, such as mammoths, mastodons, camels, and others. The museum has a Discovery Room and a Current Exhibits gallery.
There is also an extensive collection of regional Shoshone-Bannock artifacts.
Situated on the Idaho State University,hours are Memorial Day to Labor Day: Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 12 a.m. to 5 p.m. Labor Day to Memorial Day: Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday 12 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed Sundays, Mondays, and all holidays. Admission Fees: Adults: $2.50 Youth (6-18): $1.50 and Seniors: $1.50.
