With entrances on Capitol Blvd or Myrtle St in Boise, it contains a lagoon, rose garden, and recreational facilities. Picnicking is permitted and boat rentals are available. The Discovery Center of Idaho offers hands-on exhibits for children. The park is open daily from dawn to dusk.
