Mountain Bike the Nez Perce Trail

Capture the historic feel of the Nez Perce Trail in a six-day, 95-mile trip through the selway-Bitterroot country in Northern Region.

Wilderness River Outfitters take guests on a series of dirt roads that cut through thick white pine forests in the Magruder Corridor. Nothing but 3.4 million acres of wilderness lie on either side, with the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness Area to the north and the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness to the south.

As cyclists ride through the woods, guides talk about the importance of the Nez Perce Trail and the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Side trips take guests to high mountain lakes and nearby streams for excellent fishing.
