Oregon Trail

Entering Idaho at the southeast corner, the Oregon Trail crossed the southern expanse of the state before crossing the Snake River and entering Oregon Territory. Before the advent of the transcontinental railways, tens of thousands of pioneers made their way west to new homes by making the arduous journey from St Louis MO to Oregon.
