Oregon Trail Park

This park, on the shore of Alexander Reservoir, was constructed in 1987 through a partnership of Utah Power and Light Utilites and the Idaho Fish and Game Department. It features a covered picnic area, other picnic sites, and a boat ramp. Birdwatchers can view pelicans, sea gulls, hawks, geese and ducks. It's a little windy here at times but there's plenty of fresh air to enjoy, along with a beautiful view of the northern end of the mighty Wasatch Mountain Range, that orginates south of Salt Lake City, Utah.
