Idaho Sportsman's Club is located near Sun Valley. It has two great preserves for upland bird hunting. Both preserves are loaded with game birds, many of them wild. They release only certified, hard-flying game birds from the best breeders in Southern Idaho. Pheasant, chukar, Hungarian partridge, bobwhite quail, and California quail can be hunted from August 15 through December 15. Sage grouse, doves, ducks, and geese may be hunted during State seasons. Trophy mule deer and elk have been harvested here as well as mountain lions, antelope, coyotes, fox, and bobcats. The club also provides predator hunting. Hunts generally run from four to eight hours. Breakfast and snacks are served. Licensed guides and trained dogs are available.
