Baldwin is located in southwestern Illinois in northern Randolph County southeast of St Louis along Highway 154 near the Kaskaskia River, Kaskaskia River State Park and Baldwin Lake. Other area recreation can be found at Kaskaskia River SFWA and Peabody River King SFWA.The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 415, a decrease of 21 since 1990.<
