Buckingham Fountain

Modeled after the Latona Fountain at Versailles, but twice its size, Buckingham Fountain is the centerpiece of Grant Park.

The Fountain holds a million-and-a-half gallons of water and thousands of coins have been tossed into the pool over the years. During the summer there is a stunning color light show utilizing the Fountain's unique qualities.
