Bushnell

Bushnell is located in western Illinois in McDonough County about 15 miles northwest of Macomb. Area golfers enjoy the scenery and challenge of Shaw Creek Golf Club, a short 9-hole (public) course perfect for that quick after-work round of golf.

The weeklong Cornerstone Festival featuring over 50 rock bands is held the last week in June running into the 4th of July weekend. Fall activities revolve around the scenic Spoon River Valley Drive.

Those seeking post-high school education can find it at the Carl Sandburg College Extension Center in Bushnell.

The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 3,493, an increase of 205 since 1990.
