Chicago Heights is located in northeastern Illinois in
Cook County just south of the "Windy City"'s city limits along
Interstate 80.
Prairie State College, a community college serving the area, calls Chicago Heights home.
As for the "Crossroads" issue, in 1915, when the transcontinental Lincoln and Dixie Highways were completed, they intersected in Chicago Heights.
