Located in southwest Illinois in
Cook County in the
Des Plaines River Valley, Cog Hill has been in operation since 1927. This privately-owned golf course is situated in a pastoral setting just 30 miles southwest of
Chicago. The public is invited to play on one of four 18-hole regulation golf courses, including the world-famous Course #4, "Dubsdread." The club also features a driving range and learning center, pro shop, restaurant with patio and a 280-seat banquet hall located within the historic clubhouse.
Golf Digest Magazine has awarded the club 5 stars and voted it "Top Course" in Illinois. TravelGolf rated it as the #3 public course in Chicagoland (12/02).
