First Christian Church of Downers Grove was begun in July, 1964, to meet the spiritual needs in the growing Southwest suburbs of Chicago. Worship services and coffee fellowship are offered. The Church celebrates communion every Sunday. Sunday school for all ages is conducted. The sanctuary is accessible to wheelchairs. The congregation actively supports many types of service in the community and worldwide.
