East Moline is located in
Rock Island County just east of
Moline along Highway 84 on the peninsula created by the
Mississippi River and the
Rock River. It is considered part of the "Quad Cities" area which also includes
Davenport, IA. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 20,205, an increase of 58 since 1990.
