Edwardsville

Edwardsville is located in southwestern Illinois in Madison County (of which it is the county seat) about 15 miles northeast of St Louis along Highway 143 about 10 miles east of the Mississippi River. The population estimate for the third oldest town in the state is about 21,500.

Southern Illinois University-Edwardsvill is located on a 2,660-acre campus and calls the town home. Other local attractions include Fox Creek Golf Club, Lake James Golf Course, Oak Brook Golf Club and the American Legion Post 199 Golf Course for those wanting to shoot a round.
