Hanover Park is located in northeastern Illinois straddling the
Cook County/
DuPage County just southwest of
Schaumburg. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 36,027, an increase of 3,109 since 1990.
The annual "Harvest Fest" is held on Labor Day weekend and attracts more than 40,000 visitors. Big-name entertainment, carnival and seemingly endless food booths highlight the event.
