Heritage Bluffs is a public 18-hole, par 72, 7,100-yard course located in northeastern Illinois in southwestern Will County. The Dick Nugent-designed facility has 3 sets of tees for the men starting with the Golds which are rated at 73.9 with a slope of 138. The Blue tees play 6,600 yards long and carry a rating of 71.5 and a 133 slope while the Whites are 6,000 yards long with numbers of 68.9 and 125. Ladies playing from the White tees face numbers of 74.3 and 130. The Red tees are 5,000 yards long however no ratings were available at this writing. Overall, the 7th-best public course in Chicagoland is rated 4 stars and includes an 8,000-sq.-ft. practice putting green, a chipping green and 2 practice fairway bunkers. In addition, the Grille Room serves up a seemingly endless menu of tasty sandwiches.
