Hinsdale

Hinsdale is located in northeastern Illinois in Cook County in the southwest quadrant formed by the Interstate 294/U.S. 34 interchange about 15 miles east-northeast of Naperville. The population estimate for 2000 was 17,000.

On an historical note, the town, established in 1862, was originally known as Brush Hill and then Fullersburg before assuming its current name in 1873.
