Harry S Truman College

Harry S Truman College is located in Chicago, Cook County, IL, and has an enrollment of about 15,000. In addition to the "tradtional students", the College furthers the varied educational needs of more than 30,000 other students.

Established in 1956, the School was originally named Mayfair College. A new campus was created in Chicago's historic Uptown neighborhood and opened for business with its new name in 1976.

Academic Departments include: Art and Foreign Language; Biology and Physical Education; Business and Technical Education; Communication Arts and Skills; Humanities; Mathematics; Nursing; Physical Science & Engineering and Social Science.

Occupational Programs include: Automotive Mechanic Technician; Cosmetology and Major Home Appliance Repair.

The College is part of the seven-member "City Colleges of Chicago" system that includes Kennedy-King College, Malcolm X College, Olive-Harvey College, Richard J. Daley College,Harold Washington College and Wilbur Wright College.
