Lewis and Clark Community College is located in Godfrey, Madison County, IL, and has an enrollment of about 10,000. Currently the fifth largest community college in Illinois outside of the Chicago area, LCCC was created in 1970 to meet the continuing education needs of the community.

Monticello College, a small liberal arts college that was created in 1838, housed the first classes conducted by LCCC. A year later Monticello closed its doors and LCCC became the new tenant of the historical 215-acre campus.

Seven Divisons support over 30 Departments or Programs including Dental Hygiene; Criminal Justice; Fire Science; Radio Broadcasting; Drafting/CAD Technology and Child Development.
