Ina

Ina is located in southern illinois in Jefferson County south of Mt. Vernon on the eastern shores of Rend Lake. For those that enjoy the outdoors, the area offers the adjacent Wayne Fitzgerald State Park and the Rend Lake SFWA minutes to the northwest.

Ina is home to Rend Lake College, a communtiy college serving the area's advanced educational needs.

The population estimate for 2000 was about 2,500.
