Lake Bluff, incorporated in 1895, is located in northeastern Illinois in
Lake County on the shores of
Lake Michigan about 7 miles south of
Waukegan, the county seat. Great Lakes Naval Base is located just north of town. The population estimate for 2000 was about 6,000 people.
