Abraham Lincoln's presence here in the only court room still in use where he once practiced. This is also where he won his fame by successfully defending Duff Armstrong in the Almanac Trial.
In addition, in the Beardstown City Hall is the Black Museum which represents every period of American history in the Rudie Black collection of guns. An extensive assortment of Native American arrowheads and tools is on display, as well.
