Lostant is located in north central Illinois in southwestern
La Salle County along SR 251 just east of
Interstate 39 about 20 miles southwest of
Ottawa, the county seat. With its unique geographical location, the
Illinois River lies about 15 miles to the west and about the same to the north of town.
