This 70 bed, fully accredited (JCAHO), nonprofit hospital offers a 24 hour Emergency Room; CAT scans, Stress, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine Testing; an ICU, CCU, and Same Day Surgery, and an attached Medical Center with 8 full time physicians and 10 consulting physicians. Two skilled care and one intermediate care nursing facilities are here as well as a Senior Citizens residence center. The Shelby Area Ambulance Service is available 24 hours a day with a staff of well trained Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics. Counseling and rehabilitation service is available through Shelby County Community Services.
