The Julia Rackley Perry Memorial Hospital was officially founded on May 29, 1916, when the city council of Princeton, Illinois passed an ordinance to establish and maintain a public hospital. The new hospital opened June 17, 1920. From 1976 to the present, the old buildings were razed and additional construction produced areas that include a surgical unit, pharmacy, ambulatory services, physicians offices, rehabilitation, cardiac rehab and others. Renovations, equipment, technology and services continue to bring Perrys patients the highest quality of health care available. Combining tradition with technology, Perry is proud to be a licensed 98-bed facility with a highly trained staff of approximately 325 members. They continually strive to make your stay, or that of your loved one, as pleasant as possible by respecting and preserving each individuals right to information and privacy.
