Comments: Hello, I am a 44 year old African American Housewife and Mother of 4 wonderful children. Approx. 2 yrs ago I rcd letter stating women 40 yrs of age and over should be getting checked yearly for Breast Cancer, even if you have no history of it in your family. So, I made an appt.and went in. Having very dense breast, which made it difficult to detect any cancer, I was requested to return for further testing because of questions and concern raised by the doctors. Well, I have gone in a couple of times and am very grateful to God that no Cancer has been found. (But, I will continue to go for tests because I feel that early detection in any case will save your Life! The only person in my family who has ever been diagnosed with Cancer, my GRNDMOTHER who died approx. 6 years ago of Colon,spreading to Liver CANCER... But, she was a Heavy Smoker. I would like to Thank the Wonderful--CARING-and Excellent Doctors for being compassionate and helping me thru a very difficult time.I WAS SO AFRAID
