Gateway Regional Medical Center, formely St. Elizabeth Medical Center is a 386-bed facility providing a full range of services. Community Health System (CHS) plans to expand these services with the addition of home health care and acute rehabilitation, among other services. Improvements include renovation of the emergency room, making it more modern, comfortable and user-friendly. Gateway Regional Medical Center?s medical staff has more than 150 physicians, representing 39 specialties.
