OSF Saint James - John W. Albrecht Medical Center, a state-of-the-art 47-bed replacement healthcare facility completed in September, 2002, is dedicated to providing the very best for each and every patient and family member who chooses OSF Saint James for their care, since they first opened doors in Pontiac, Illinois in 1907. The new hospital facility features 42 licensed beds, including medical/surgical and skilled nursing services, obstetrics and intensive care. In addition, the facility increased significant space and a "patient-friendly" design for emergency, ambulatory and surgical services, as well as medical office space for 16 full-time and 16 part-time physicians.
