Mendota Community Hospital

Mendota Community Hospital opened its doors on June 10, 1951. The original 44 bed hospital cost approximately $544,000 to build and equip. It was through the volunteer efforts of over 2,000 people, firms, organizations and churches that the money was raised to build the hospital.

Today, the hospital is one of the larger employers in the community with over 260 employees on staff. Directed by a volunteer board, the 38 bed hospital is a non profit, non tax corporation which serves Mendota and the surrounding communities.

Mendota Community Hospital provides acute care services. Inpatient services include general medical-surgical care, intensive care, and acute care designated for long term care (swing beds). Outpatient services include emergency services, same day surgery, and other ambulatory-based services.
