The Medinah CC is a private 54-hole complex that includes the famed #3 which was recognized by Golf Digest as Illinois' best in 1999. Course #1 opened for play in 1925 while #2 opened a year later. Course #3 was originally designed for Medinah's ladies but was remodeled into the Championsip Course we know today after only three years. It has been selected for the 2006 (88th) PGA Championship and the 2012 Ryder Cup.
