Morton Arboretum is situated on 1,700 acres about 2 miles north of the
Interstate 88 exit SR 53N in
Lisle. More than 4,800 species and varieties of woody plants grow at the arboretum. Crab apples and lilacs blossom in May. Trees and shrubs are labled for identification along the 25 miles of trails. Open-air bus tours are available. Pets are not allowed on the grounds.
