Nelson Golf Course

Nelson GC is a short, executive-style, 18-hole public course overlooking the shores of Lake Decatur. Built in 1916, the hilly course affords golfers scenic surroundings and is the home course for Decatur's junior golf program.

The par 65, 5,000-yard course with a slope of 115 is rated at 62. The facility is open year round and the pro shop is open from dawn to dusk.
