Started in 1996, Arlington Aikikai is affiliated with Aikido Shindo Dojo, Japan. It provides training in Aikido and Tai Chi. The curriculum includes warm up and solo exercises, basic movements, and aspects of Aikido. All these practices help to cultivate internal energy, which can then be utilized for martial arts or for healing. It promotes good balance and flexibility through the body and mind working together. Classes are offered for students of all ages.
