Olympia Fields CC, first established in 1915, is a private club located in northeastern Illinois in southern
Cook County. The North Course is rated by
Golf Digest as the #2 course in the state and #24 nationally. The 2-course complex originally housed 4 courses and has hosted numerous PGA-sponsored championships including the 1928 United States Open, the 1997 U.S. Senior Open, the 1925 and 1961 PGA Championships, and five Western Opens (1920, 1927, 1933, 1968, and 1971). Its most recent major was the 2003 men's U.S. Open. The sprawling 110,000 sq. ft. clubhouse is among the world's largest.
