Aiki Shoshinkai was established in 1994 as an organization to promote the growth of Aikido by providing the communities of North Eastern Illinois with accessible, professional instruction, and high quality training in a traditional environment. It offers instruction in beginning, intermediate, and advanced programs of study with rank certification, administered through standardized tests. All classes are conducted by nationally certified instructors. In addition, participation in seminars, workshops and demonstrations is arranged.
