Pine Meadow is a public 18-hole, 7,100-yard course located in northeastern Illinois in Lake County. The men's Black tees are rated at 74.6 with a slope of 138. The Gold tees are 6,900 long and are rated at 73.4 and 135. The Blue tees measure 6,500 yards and carry a 71.5 rating and a 131 slope while the White tees have numbers of 6,200/70.1/126. The ladies play a 5,200-yard course rated 66.3 with a slope of 112. This 4.5-star facility is annually ranked in the top 15 courses in the state and was recently rated the 28th best public course in the U.S. The 220-acre layout features mature and majestic deciduous trees and evergreens that top 60 feet. Over 80 bunkers await the errant shot and, coupled with major water on eight holes, will challenge every skill level.
