RedTail is a public 18-hole, par 72, 4.5-star ( Chicagoland Golf) course located in northeastern Illinois in McHenry County. The men have a choice of three tees including the blacks which are rated at 72.8 with a slope of 130. The gold tees play 6,450 yards long with numbers of 71.2 and 126 while the whites are rated at 68.0 with 120 slope over a 6,000-yard course. Ladies that play the white tees will face a rating of 74.3/128. The red tees measure 5,450 yards and rate out at 71.3 and 122. Amenities include a driving range and the full-service Hawk's Nest Bar and Grill.
