One of the largest arsenals in the world, located right in the middle of the
Mississippi River. The 1833 Col. Davenport House here is in the National Register of Historic Places. On the arsenal grounds is a Confederate Soldier Cemetary and a museum. The Clock Tower was the first permanent building on the
Mississippi River. Open daily at 10:00am to 4:00pm, except major holidays. Free.
