Roscoe Misselhorn Art Gallery

Roscoe Misselhorn is known as the Norman Rockwell of the Midwest and is recognized for his contributions toward tourism with the Illinois Governor's Award. More than 2,000 of his sketches of steam locomotives, historical buildings, paddlewheelers and the historical town of Ste. Genevieve are exhibited in the gallery.

The art gallery is housed in the old Gulf, Mobile & Ohio Depot that was featured in the Academy Award winning film "In the Heat of the Night" starring Rod Steiger and Sidney Poitier.
