Rosemont is located in Cook County on the western city limits of Chicago between Parkridge and Schiller Park along Interstate 90 on the banks of the Des Plaines River.The city is the proud host of Depaul University. In addition, its location five minutes east of Chicago - O'Hare International Airport allows Rosemont to host numerous public and trade shows, primarily in the Allstate Arena, the renamed Rosemont Horizon arena. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 3,920, a decrease of 75 since 1990.
