The museum has a prehistoric, historic and scientific collection of more than 50,000 objects, along with an art collection of 2,000 objects. Located in the north wing of Faner Hall at
Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in
Carbondale. The museum is closed on University holidays and on Mondays.
