This lodge and conference center is located in 2,700-acre
Starved Rock State Park in north central Illinois well known for its scenic river views, 18 magnificent glacier-carved canyons, and more than 15 miles of hiking trails. The
La Salle County native-stone-and-log lodge, built in part by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, features the Great Hall with its beamed ceiling and giant fireplace. The lodge houses 72 guest rooms with bluff views, full bath, TV, and telephone. A hotel wing with a lobby and indoor pool complex completes the building. There are an additional 22 cabin rooms, some with wood-burning fireplaces, on the complex. The conference center holds up to 250 people.
