Stone Creek is a public 18-hole, par 72, 6,900-yard course located in southern Illinois in southeastern Jackson County just east of Cedar Lake about 8 miles south of Carbondale along U.S. 51. Men have a choice of 3 sets of tees ranging from the championship blacks rated at 74 with a challenging 140 slope, the blues with numbers of 71.9 and 136 and the whites at 70.1 and 133. Ladies play a 5,400-yard course rated at 67 with a slope of 120.
