Sycamore is located in nortern Illinois in
DeKalb County (of which it is the county seat) on Highway 64 east of
Interstate 39 and north of
Interstate 88. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 11,237, an increase of 1,341 since 1990.
This rustic area features the "Chapel in the Pines", an "engaging" Victorian-style country church and the setting for many celebrations.
