Trenton

Trenton is located in southwestern Illinois in western Clinton County about 30 miles east of St Louis and the Mississippi River along U.S. Highway 50. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 2,582, an increase of 101 since 1990.

Nearby recreation includes trips to Carlyle Lake, Eldon Hazlet State Park and South Shore State Park about 25 miles east of town.
